The developer went all out as you will see by all the options available below and with all the Starbucks addicts, I am sure this application will be a big hit. Additional screen shots below. Description: Welcome to eXpresso for Starbucks® Coffee. This is your new personal Ordering Assistant. With a graphical beverage creator, a dynamic and interactive favorites list, and the inclusion of Barista Speak, your life just got a little easier. Dream up a new drink. Create something adventurous, daring even. Take your time, there’s no pressure to decide while standing in line. No need to remember everything. Imagine something fabulous. There’s something for everyone, espresso, tea, lemonade, you name it. Inspiration is likely with eXpresso. eXpresso simulates the selection boxes on a real Starbucks(R) cup, simply touch on the familiar boxes for your personalized choices. Juicy raspberries and rich espresso shots entice you to tap. Ordering has never been easier, nor faster. Of course, your drink is personal and it should be treated as such. Give it a name, whatever you like, something exotic perhaps to indicate that it couldn’t be anyone else’s. Our creation of a Mayan Mocha is but one example. Now that you’ve been so innovative, eXpresso does it’s magic to back you up and create Barista Speak; this is the text equivalent of your drink that any Barista will fully understand. You know, just in case. Save your creation in the dynamically scrolling list (you’ll want to have it again), then add another, and another again. We expect you will have many. As soon as you start a fresh creation, a new blank page will appear, always ready for you. Going for lunch? Key in your sweet or savory selection in lieu of a drink name to store your tasty choice. Scones to Sandwiches, it’s all good. Ordering off-menu is also easy using our “Add Details” field. Everyone’s dreams are different, so this is for you. Now that you’re a pro, you can be a hero too. The multi-page system of eXpresso provides for many orders so you can take requests for your whole family or office, and you can then give each a name to remember who ordered what. Flick up and down through your list to review. Zap back to any page with a quick tap. eXpresso was designed with ease and innovation in mind. Help Mom by creating a drink for her that’s as sophisticated as she is. She’ll tell everyone how wonderful you are. Bleary at 6 a.m.? Simply hand your PlayBook displaying eXpresso over to the Barista for transcription, but be sure to retrieve it, they think it’s nifty too. Price 1.99

We first posted about the fantasy football application for the PlayBook back in November (here) and since that time we have seen the app demoed at Adobe MAX, CES, on the RIM® website, and at press briefings. We posted the video of the Fantasy Football application and we were not the only ones as it made it's way around the web. . Info from the creators of the Fantasy Football application, Universal Mind: A team from Universal Mind’s User Experience (UX) practice proposed the idea of a fantasy football app, and RIM® gave the green light. So the team began their Discover process, talking to fantasy football enthusiasts, examining the types of data involved in fantasy football games, and exploring other fantasy sports applications and web sites. The team created a wireframe of possible workflows and then moved on to visual design. The app was designed to be fun, easy to use, and visually compelling as players get stats and news, watch highlight videos, trade players, and even design their own team helmets.
