Pixelated and Pixelated Plus for BlackBerry PlayBook Updated to v3.0

3.0.PlayBook

Eric at Ebscer let us know that  Pixelated  and Pixelated Plus were updated to version 3.0 expanding support for 5 languages.

The languages supported by Pixelated now include English, Spanish, Dutch, French, and Portuguese. This update also improves the stability and efficiency of the application. Pixelated is free to download and supports every BlackBerry device released in the last three years including the PlayBook.

Pixelated is an addictive puzzle based strategy game that requires a mixture of skill and luck in order to accomplish.

The object of the game is to change the colour of the squares until the entire screen is a single solid colour. Starting with the square in the upper left corner you can change the colour of the blocks in order to match that of the surrounding squares. This is done repeatedly until the entire screen is a single colour.

The object of the game is to clear the screen in as few moves as possible. Under the default settings you must do so in under 21 moves in order to win.

For more difficulty levels, the option of a move counter, and more colour schemes, download Pixelated Plus from BlackBerry® App World™

Orb It! and Orb It! Lite for the BlackBerry PlayBook

orb it blackberry playbook

Being a big fan of the Lonely Turret Defense Game I was pleased to see that Rotten Ogre released Orb It! for the PlayBook. He let me know about this game a few weeks ago, but somehow it got lost in my email abyss. (LOL)

Orb It! for the PlayBook offers the user fast paced fun yet keeps it challenging.  The game is easy to navigate and with the objective being to touch the objects on the screen, it is very accurate and responsive. As with Lonely Turret you have a free lite version and a full version so you can give Orb It! Lite version a try for free.

Description: Tap and link orbs to destroy them before they collide. Three different endless game modes (Classic, Arcade and Waves) provide variations on the gameplay, including special orbs and power-ups. You’ll have to be quick with your fingers to get a high score!

Orb It! Lite lets you play the Classic game mode and submit highscores of up to 50,000. To play the other game modes and to submit highscores of any amount, please buy the full version.
