Bookmark Browser Collection is a collection of bookmarks with categories that are easy to access via your PlayBook before ever needing to open your browser.
Select a site from several categories such as News, Weather, Magazines, Sports, Kids and more. Each category has popular sites to choose from and once the site is chosen, the browser will open. The categories are kinda themed with background images which is a nice touch also. The sites will open the browser with WiFi connection or via Bridge.
A custom search category is also available and offers both a Google Search box and a Yahoo Search box with predictive text capability with the BlackBerry® PlayBook™ keyboard. Once the search terms have been typed in, the browser will open and show your results.
Opening the browser does not close this application, allowing you easy access to sites on the fly.

I have to admit I have been trying to stump this web genius for quite a while via my desktop, and I tried it today via my PlayBook and the site worked perfectly.
The Web Genius is nothing more than a fun little web based novelty site where you pick a real or fictional character, answer some questions and he will tell you who the character is.
The accuracy overall is great.
You do need to fill in your name field, age and sex, but it’s filled in on the honor system with no registration required.
This is quite a bit of fun and worth a bookmark on your PlayBook browser.

I have used the Maxthon Browser on my PC for quite a long time, and it was pleasantly surprised when it made its way into app world. One thing I hoped was that a lot of features that Maxthon offers would still be available with the PlayBook version and after using this browser on your PlayBook you will quickly notice all the tools this browser brings to the table. We knew this version of BlackBerry Bridge would need to be around to take advantage of all the features with the upcoming PlayBook OS 2.0. I have been a big fan of SimpleBrowser since it came out and probably because what I hoped it would evolve into. SimpleBrowser has had a few updates, with this latest update adding even more cool features.

New with 1.0.6 - Introduction of tabs / panes! Additional items added to settings menu and many changes to core functionality
Details: SimpleBrowser offers a simple interface for browsing the web. You get the benefit of being able to browse a website without anything else on the screen, just a nice 1024×600 window into the web.
Think of it as your web browser that truly reproduces the experience on your desktop. Set the user agent to “Firefox” and web sites will assume you’re on a desktop PC, likewise there are stored settings for iPad, and Android. If those 3 aren’t enough you can add your own custom user agent string easily.
In addition SimpleBrowser is a media friendly browser, you can open up any website you would like and the PlayBook will NOT enter standby mode. As long as your PlayBook is set to “Showcase” in the settings screen general tab, and SimpleBrowser is being displayed on the screen, the PlayBook will remain on. (This feature can now be disabled via the Settings menu!)
Many settings can be configured in the Settings menu, for example:
Home Page, Default Font Size, JavaScript, Flash, & Geolocation Control, and many others!
