From time to time we get emails asking this very question on how to check space that is still available on your PlayBook. This is really easy to check and worth keeping an eye on if you take a lot of pictures or videos.

On your PlayBook swipe down from the top bezel, then select About in the left menu.

By default the General screen will show you the amount of pictures, music, videos and more about what is currently on your PlayBook.

Use the drop down menu on the right and select Hardware. This will show you the free storage that remains on your PlayBook.
