On The Air Recorder for BlackBerry PlayBook Offers a Fun Themed Look

I know the PlayBook has a voice recorder but after using this one for a few days, I really enjoy how this is themed.

On the Air offers an old school look with the different signs that display as different functions are used.  “On The Air”, “Off The Air” and “Stand By” for the images and the text on pause changes to resume letting you know if it is paused.

This is a Very nice application for those that enjoy a little extra graphics with a voice recorder. When the rerecording is finished, it simply places the recording  in your music folder on the PlayBook under OnTheAir.

Details: A fun way to use the voice record function on the BlackBerry PlayBook. This themed voice recorder offers the old style On the Air signs that change as different functions are called from the application.

Record for fun, let the kids go “On the Air” and record their singing or use the “On the Air” app to record a meeting at work. This application functions a lot like the voice recorder on the PlayBook, we added an easy to use interface with themed graphics that are activated by different functions making it fun to use by all ages.

Magellan Compass Maps for PlayBook Updated to v3.0. Lots of Cool New Features

o2 interactive let us know they have updated Magellan Compass Maps to version 3.0. Version 3 was months in the making to make certain the top requested features are provided to the end user. Very nice to see a developer continue to improve on an already great application.

Blaq for BlackBerry PlayBook 1.8.1 now available!

Blaq for PlayBook Version 1.8.1 is now available for download. We posted about  a big version update a few days ago that offered lots of cool new features, but this update was needed to fix the removal of ‘Maximize Web View‘. The update went smooth as usual and without problems.

Pacemaker DJ platform – Coming exclusively to BlackBerry PlayBook (Demo Video)

Since I posted yesterday about the upcoming Pacemaker® app for BlackBerry PlayBook, I figured I would post up a demo video of Pacemaker in action.

During the BlackBerry World 2012 keynote general session, Jonas Norberg, the CEO and founder of Pacemaker, shared plans to launch a Pacemaker app for BlackBerry PlayBook tablets. The app will allow you to mix, sync, and scratch digital music on your PlayBook tablet, as well as apply effects, loop, and much more to provide a rich DJ experience.

Not sure of an actual release date for Pacemaker on the PlayBook, but I am sure it will be sooner than later.
