I ‘m not an ebook reader at all, but forum member MilnerR shared a pretty cool tip that I thought would be handy for some of ya’s.  Next month will be 2 years since kindle did their own press release announcing the availability of the kindle app for the PlayBook and we are still waiting.  Regardless of all that this procedure does have a few steps involved, but seems like a nice solution. Side-load kindle, download Calibre on your PC, convert your eBooks to Mobi and copy them into the kindle directory on the Playbook. Unless 2.1 comes up with something better, that’s the best (free) way I’ve found of reading books on the Playbook.
