Been a while since an update, and although it’s not the BlackBerry 10 OS for the PlayBook it’s still an update. This update is version 2.1.0.1526 and offers a few enhancements and changes.
OS Update 2.1.0.1526 Includes the following updates for the W-Fi only PlayBook:
- Improvements to Gmail® and Yahoo!® account setup services
- Enhancements to browser performance
- Audio Boost update to comply with European Standard ‘EN 60950-1/A12′
- Renaming of BlackBerry App World™ storefront to BlackBerry® World™ storefront
You should get a prompt to update the PlayBook but in-case you do not, simply swipe down from the top and select software updates.
