Small Glitch on the PlayBook when using Word to Go.

I have had a couple of people tell me they have expierenced a ghost letter when using Word to Go on the BlackBerry PlayBook in portrait mode.

Nate was kind enough to send in a screen shot of this and as you can see above the letter g hovering around kinda lost.

This happens when you are typing in portrait mode and as you hit the letter you have the animated blue box pop up with the letter inside, the letter g sometimes leaves a ghostly g behind.

Rotating from portrait to landscape then back to portrait sometimes removes it, or you can ignore it and keep on typing,  but in a worse case you can save the document and re-open it.

I have been unable to duplicate this, but if it is a transition thing it should be an easy fix in a future update. If you do happen to see this, it is not the OMG end of the world, just a minor thing that I consider kinda like a hidden Easter egg. lol

Crop Photos Easy on the PLayBook with EasyCrop app. (Review)

We first covered EasyCrop for the PlayBook a few weeks ago and it is now available in BlackBerry App World as a free application. We decided to give it a try and was extremely impressed with the over all function of this application. Opens quick and does all the functions quick start to finish.  Here are some screen shots of cropping a photo on your PlayBook start to finish.

When in the app then hit open Photo and Select our Photo

You can Zoom the photo and adjust the area to crop.

Once you have the area you want cropped selected then hit save.

It really worked just that simple and flawless, this will be a very handy application to have on your PlayBook.

Terry is a Flash Game Developer, that has created over 100 games for various platforms and it is great to see he has developed a game for the BlackBerry PlayBook. This game Breakit 4 looks great and offers close to the same concept as the classic brick breaker game for BlackBerry Devices.
